Welcome! We're Alex and Elizabet.
We spent a decade working in tech in New York City. After our daughter was born, we asked ourselves a question we couldn't shake: is this really where we want to raise her? The answer led us to Mallorca, and we've never looked back.
We'd wintered here for a few years before making the leap permanent. The culture, the schools, the remarkably high quality lifestyle at a fraction of the cost, the expat community, the nature — and flights to anywhere in Europe for $50 — made the decision easy. The move itself was anything but.
We hit every wall Spanish bureaucracy had to offer. We overpaid lawyers and accountants, got lost in paperwork (ever try to "apostille" a document in the US?), and learned the hard way what nobody tells you. We figured it out — and now we help others skip the painful part.
